  1. Dear Sue,
I am a new user of edublog but I am already felt the problem of the site while i exporing its new features and functions. First problem is the time that it takes to load a page, for e.g, when i was trying to write a blog entry to inform my students of upcoming assignments and activities. I was extremely frustrated the fact that it took so long to load a page just to allow me to post an entry. Second is I seem to be unable to copy and paste the embeded code for youtube and widget into a post, or a page, or in the sidebar. i read your guideline on how to embed the html code into a normal post, but it didnt appear, and it kept popping up with the message that internet explore cannot load the page. I tried the whole morning and i still unable to insert a video clip from youtube into the post. Can you please enlighten me on this matter? Your comment is urgently needed. Thank you.

  2. Hi Sue,
Well this competition has certainly been fun and exciting!!!
I really enjoy visiting all the blogs and having people comment on my blog it made me feel good and that my posts were important.
I like how every week each member of the competittion has to write a post. I liked visisting others blogs because they also had interesting things to write about. This competition has let us exspress oursel. Our opinion will be heard with every post or comment that we make. This competition is amazing and I’m glad I’m a part of it.

  3. Hi Sue,
I started to read all this beautiful comments and I ended commenting on several of their author’s blogs!
It’s really an energizing and cheerful experience to go through this Competition!
So far, I’m slowly getting my students on the road, we take our time because we must participate as a in a “leisure activity” – it means that we are not given specific time at school to get along with it, except for 40 minutes on Monday during lunch break.

This is so, because, this year, Primary grades have computer lessons included in their syllabus for the 1st time, and they have them precisely during our lunch breaks!

Even though, I’m so happy to have brought my young students to this world of wonder – and yet so real – I just hope they will understand that the heart of blogging and web2.0 is all about friendship and building a new world.

Thank you for your helpful and caring support!
    Ines

  4. I think blogging is a lot of fun because it allows you to talk to others all over the world and find out more about their lifestyles. Also, about the competition, I like seeing everyone’s different views on the same subject.

  5. Blogging is a new thing for me and when I get a new comment on my blog I get realy excited. Same with when I get a new dot on my cluster map. My parents think it’s a great thing that I have my own blog and that I am commenting on other people’s blogs.

  6. Hi
I like blogging and I find it interesting because Its away of people all over the world to talk about stuff thats going on in the school or life. I really like to be able to tell people what I think about election or things in my city or in other place’s.

  7. Sup Sue?!?!
(I thought you would be tired of hearing “Hey Sue”)

This competetion is the best! I have learned things I would never have looked into with out you’re help. I learned about RSS feeds, how to use HTML to embed an object on a page, and even learned about how to manage links.
    Thanks

    Peace, Lucas

  9. This blogging competition has meant a lot to me because I get to communicate with people in other states and countries. The blogging competition has improved my reading and typing skills. My favorite part about making blogs are the clustr maps. I think it’s so cool that you can see who has visited you around the world. 10. Hi Sue,

I like the blog compition because you do different actitivities every week. I am glad that we have to do all those great activities. It taught me how to under stand what a blog is about and it improved my writing skills. I also got to see other students blogs from around the world. I think the blogging competion will be a big success this year.

  11. Aloha Sue Waters!
I have learned so much from your blog as well as Ms. Wyatt’s. The best part of blogging is without a doubt is commenting on other [people’s] blogs and posts. As Ms. Wyatt has said, commenting does indeed ‘Keep up the conversation’. Before I began my blog, I knew squat on blogging or what the purpose of what a blog was. Now, I check my blog every day and continue to make new posts and try to update it when I can. The competition has gotten very exciting. I still can not believe it’s almost over and will be melancholy. Even when the competition is over I will continue to keep blogging!

  13. Hi Sue,

First, the blogging competion is really helpful with our skills with computers. I have never been someone who could type fast or know what to do with my time on a computer besides checking e-mail. This competion has increased my skills with typing and searching. My computer class has been accomplishing every weekly challenge swiftly. My favorite part of it all is being able to talk to other people on the other side of the world. Also, creating a blog itself was cool because we have our own space to write our opinions in.

    Thank-you Miss Waters!!!!

During the blogging compition I have explored through different countries just over the internet. I feel like I have been to the different countries just looking at the other peoples blogs. This experiance is vary unique to me and I enjoy it alot.
