A report from Harvard backed what a lot of people already know: regular communication with parents helps improve student performance. But, Larry Ferlazzo wonders how feasible good communication with each parent is once the researchers have all gone home.

Good News: The Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) says K-12 and higher ed institutions “are making slow but steady progress toward instructional and operational goals, including improved use of individual student data, through use of technology.”
