  1. While I have been known to produce art, poetry, and music, I much prefer helping students learn and express themselves, so my post is about the incidental walk-in research assignment for performing arts students who have missed a music or theater performance and need to make up the grade.

This was one of my signature activities when I was a librarian and prompted teachers in other subjects to get my input on unique and creative assignments. I hope you enjoy reading about it.

    1. I’m so envious–I never have gotten the hang of book reviews or booktalks! I always invited the public library young adult librarian to visit 3 or 4 times a year and do booktalks–the kids always loved it. And I am able to incite students to create great book trailers!

      Love your pictures! BrP
