#EdublogsClub Prompt 2: My Classroom Or Office

This post is part of the #EdublogsClub – a group of educators and edtech enthusiasts that blog around a common theme each week. Simply write a post and share it to join in, or sign up to receive email reminders of each new prompt.

Last week we all shared our own personal blogging story.

This week, we want to take a closer look at where we spend the majority of our work days. Our classrooms, our offices, cubes, home offices, coffee shops, or anywhere else where we “get work done”.

Write a post that discusses your classroom or place of work. Some topics you may wish to address include:

  • The physical space – how you approach layout of furniture, technology, etc.
  • The aesthetics – share a photo and/or discuss decorating your space
  • Staying organized – how you do (or don’t) keep organized
  • Tips, tricks, or advice related to the above
  • Anything else you wish to share!

We want just a little window into your daily work life 🙂

Don’t Forget To Comment

Once you publish your post, we ask that you do the following:

  1. Leave a comment here below with a link to your post.
  2. Visit your fellow #EdublogsClub participant’s posts and leave feedback and comments on as many as you can.

And don’t forget to share your posts using the #EdublogsClub hashtag on social media.

Happy blogging!

    1. Your blog is so clean and attractive. I love the social media icons at the top. How did you get those up there like that?

      1. Hi Michelle, the theme I am using supports a Social Links menu so I added them using Appearance > Menu – http://help.edublogs.org/social-links-menu/

It wasn’t necessarily my first choice of themes but I’m playing with Portfolio content type – http://help.edublogs.org/portfolio-projects-content-type/ so I wanted to use a theme that is designed for portfolios. There is some content I want to publish online that I don’t necessarily want to add as posts or pages but don’t want to set up on another blog (or website). Which is why I’m using Portfolios in combination with posts.

    1. Idea Lab. I like that. I wanted to name my room something catchy this year but my students and I never came up with anything we like.

  1. Good Morning Colleagues!

    Happy Saturday!

My blog is posted here: http://www.catherinefinger.com/blog/beauty-matters/ ‎and I will warn you before you check it out that it ‘lives’ on a website that also features thriller novels that I write. I am going to split this side into a half fiction writing/half leadership site in the next few months so you will not be subject to the book stuff when you read my blog posts!
