  • Teaching quality comments and posts
  • Working with widgets
  • Images, copyright, and creative commons
  • Connecting with other classes
  • Tons more!

How Does It Work?

The Edublogs Teacher Challenge is completely free of charge.

Each Teacher Challenge session lasts for 30 days, with 2-3 tasks per week that will be sent to you via email. We’ll send the first challenge to you when you signup.

When you finish the Teacher Challenge, we’ll give you a badge to proudly display on your blog and a certificate of completion which you can use towards your professional development hours.

You can use any blogging platform you prefer, but our detailed instructions will be written with Edublogs and CampusPress users in mind, so you’ll need to slightly adapt them depending on your platform.

Bogging is a great way to teach and learn, monitor progress and reflect what has been learned and also to improve on learning. We are looking forward to the challenge and excitement ahead. Thank you. Bismark

    1. Hello Erasmo,
It looks like both of us want the same thing – more blog training for our students. We’re getting more comfortable with blogging and would like to find a class to connect with. Would you be interested in blogging with us? We live in New Jersey, USA.

      1. Hi Miriam

Another great way to connect your students with other classes while helping them to learn more about blogging is to join the Student blogging challenge – http://studentchallenge.edublogs.org/ The next Student blogging challenge starts in March.

Other activities for connecting with other classes are listed in Step 10 of the blogging with student series – http://teacherchallenge.edublogs.org/step-10-connect-other-classes/

  5. Hi,
I am a student teacher and I am not currently teaching in a classroom. I would love to learn more about blogging for the classroom and I would like to know whether this course would work while I do not have regular contact with kids.
    Thanks,
    Anna

    1. Hi Anna. You can definitely take the course so that you are totally prepared later on. You can start a free blog on Edublogs.org to use to work through many of the steps in the course. Let us know if you have any more questions.
